First, a note of gratitude to the parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles who assist with observance of feast days, special Masses, receptions & fellowship, extracurricular clubs, service projects and field trips. Not to be forgotten are the unsung heroes who maintain our school grounds and provide OLV's exceptional lunch program ~ faithful craftsmen and talented chefs, all. Our robust campus life wouldn't be possible without you.
Students continue to amaze us with their aptitudes and readiness for a challenge -- if given a coach and a calendar, they exceed our expectations every time! From the running track to the Spelling Bee, OLV kids are well-prepared and eager to compete.
Optional Spanish Club and Music Lessons take place afterschool throughout the year. Additionally, periodic teams are formed for Chess Club, Geography Bee, Spelling Bee, and Catholic Truth Pursuit. Fitness programs are organized according to student interest and staff availability, and most recently included Cross Country Running/Track and Field. Without exception, our students' decorum and sportsmanship mirrors the high standards observed at Our Lady of the Valley.
When applicable, our instructors are approved vendors through the homeschool offices (such as Twindly Bridge, IDEA, and Mat-Su Central School) meaning any fees associated with participation are reimbursible to families.
